This mod aims to bring the extra-galactic race of Yuuzhan Vong into SW: FoC as a playable 4th faction. Original factions will receive new units to fight these invaders.

One of the smaller Yuuzhan Vong vessels, I´Friil Ma-Nats are best used as anti-fighter escort for heavier ships. Thanks to the ability to boost speed or firepower, they also excel at using hit-and-run tactics obliterating enemy fighters and bombers (which can cause serious pain against Vong shielding).
If you think, that you´re familiar with the design, you´re right! This model was actually made by EvillJedi and used in Z3r0x mod featuring the Vongs for the first time in EaW modding history. Even though it underwent some rather heavy tweaking, it´s meant as a tribute to this creator.

Interesting, but vong ships and flame throwers were never in the novels, nor would a flame thrower work in space. The closest thing possible would be a type of plasma discharge such as the Slave Ship.
Curious as always to see what you guys develop, I hope you beat me to developing worm grappling hooks as the mataloks were described having, if you choose to include that ;)
well, as far as I´m aware flamethrowers spit an ignited mixture of liquids onto its targets. Vongs could then "spit" a mixture with fluid oxygen (though it evaporates rather quickly) in it, which would supply those "space flames" with oxygen... /hope nobody with some knowledge in chemistry reads this/
I intend to give the Dreadnought (which is neither really "canon") a switchable ability between flame/beam.
ad grappling worms) idk, but since animations in space usually freeze the unit, I´m afraid this ability wont make into our mod. but who knows...
