Description
The workhorse of Dac, the MC40 was the main fighting cruiser of the Mon Calamari Fleet. While Cruisers such as the MC80 class and MC90 gained most notoriety due to carrying celebrity fighter squadrons or serving as flagships for admirals, the MC40 was on the forefront of any strike fleet, taking a beating and protecting the carriers.
Heavily armed, armored and shielded, the MC40 deployed 1 squadron of X-Wing Fighters.
Oh, and it now is sporting EmperorNiko's new shield effect.

Is it just me or did it seem like the MC40's heavy turrets were a little wonky? I saw them fire at their target, but the barrels didn't appear to move at all.
The rotation speeds are likely set a little too fast. These will be all balanced and corrected when we tweak just before release

Imagine flying an star-fighters through that carnage. All these behemoths blasting at each other, explosions happening everywhere. And your just a very small spec in a galaxy wide conflict.

Specially some missions in X-Wing Alliance are marvelous. Giving off exactly the vibe you're describing.

Im actually quite curious what the republic fleet will be fielding in the yhuuzan Vong War.
did they pull a force awakens and sell off all their good **** before the war began?
Or will they have the new ships they have in the final era of the imperial civil war mod?
id imagine the republic (or GFFA if that has formed yet) would only fall back on its old modified freighters and cruise liners as a reserve.
also what are those big cigar shaped ships, as well as the small dagger shaped ships with wings?
After scrolling through all your models and stuff, i now see how expansive this project is. dear god its like a more complex ultimate apocalypse mod.
