I never liked the whole idea of corvettes just sitting around like the large capitol ships, they deserve to be flying about just like the fighters

Will there be some that kinda fly like fighters but still have some of the regular ship movements?
No, one or the other.
Sadly the engine only supports one locomotor (for non-mod makers that's the thing that makes a ship move the way it does) per ship.
But you can tweak them though.
Those missile trails are so sexy. Those blue sparkly barrage things are missiles, right?
No, the blue sparkly thing is the missile's engine.
If you manage to spot the missile itself, you'll be my personal hero.
And no, I'm not kidding...
