Fitting and firing perfectly from both, the hole in the TIE Bomber launch tube, and from the DP20's multi-missile launch tubes...

How many missiles does the tie bomber hold? The size of the missile makes it seem like it would have so few, also didn't they have torpedoes not missiles? I defenitly could be mistaken though.

Ordnance varied for each mission, but we standardized it so that the bomber carry proton bombs, but only concussion missiles. Proton torpedoes cost a lot more to manufacture, and due to the low survivability rate of Imperial fighter craft compared to Alliance pilots, it makes sense that they would generally be armed with cheaper standard weapons.
Can't believe I forgot about that. Your ideas make a ton of sense, guess I really shouldn't be posting comments when I'm half braindead from finals. :)
