Nebula Class Star Destroyer
While Imp Star 2's were still a part of the New Republic Fleet, the Nebula Class served as the flaship since the Imp Star's were considered dated. The Nebula-Class was outfitted with the most advanced weaponry. Fast, decently shileded and heavily armored, the Nebula featured weapons to handle all types of foe large or small. Tri-barrel heavy turbolasers, dual barrel long range medium turboslasers, standard medium turbolasers, a top mounted heavy twin beam turret and 2 wing mounted advanced heavy ion cannons allowed the Nebulon to take down just about anything it set it sights on. Cutout missle launch bays along the flanks allowed for devastating broadsides of concussion missile volleys and 3 hangers (2 small flank, 1 large ventral)hosted 5 wings of E, A and X wings.

The ship is considered a "pocket star destroyer", being only about 1000 m long. A standard Imperial Star Destroyer mk2 is 1600 m while the MC 80 Liberty-Type Cruiser is 1200 m long.
This too will be destroyed by my Vong Fleet :p

I especially love the engine section.
And call me a noob but are those kind of "plates" i guess under the engines really necesary? i mean the model itself seems pretty damn high poly :3 wouldnt it be a waste putting it in that? xD

yes, the all round perfect battle ship.
The Nebula Class stood as the epitomy of NR engineering and design. It's only fault was that it was not as large as some enemy vessels, and could be out gunned.
