A short Q&A on Uglies:
Q1: Can you make dirty/rugged/whatever textures?
A1: We could, but we're currently not planning on making different textures for uglies. We just feel like untextured units take the priority.
Q2: When looking at the ugly it should have this and that particular weapon/defense/whatever configuration, can you make it so?
A2: There are enough arguments to support an almost unlimited number of sensible configurations of ships made of scrap parts, so we pick what's best for gameplay and balance. Deal with it.

Wish you applied some different textures. Made them look like flying pieces of junk (its just what they are). With those they look like they are straight from the factory. (aside those burn marks).
Eh. Still pretty detailed tho.
P.S. Will you guys have Z-ceptor? Or it would be too outdated?

as realistic as the work we show is, we must remember we are only a small team working on this as a hobby. To make variations of colors takes a lot of time, and we have a lot more we need to finish.

EVERYTHING WE SHOW is going in the mod.
Uglies will be mixed squadrons of fighters, used by pirates, and the Peace Brigade forces. While pirates cannot afford top-of-the-line fighters, they can afford cheaper fighters that can be used in mass to devastating effects. When the entire galaxy is at war, every weapon counts.
