Developed by Soru-Suub on Sullust, the Liberator carrier pioneers the new design style of the Galactic Alliance: highly deadly, in a compact size.
This is a battle carrier. This ship is designed to dive into the middle of a fire fight, supporting its fighters and holding its own against cruisers and destroyers much larger in size.
A notable feature of this ship are the 3 forward facing heavy ion turrets. The Liberator is designed to enter an engagement, immobilizing threats in front while protecting its hangers and then turn about to defend with the rear placed heavy turbo laser batteries.

It is stunning, never have I seen a Liberator model that looked so detailed and even if I did I bet it would not be as real-like (in terms of Star Wars) like this on.

credit goes to EJ for his awesome talents (thank you Lavo too!), i just added the little details such as command bridges, antennae and turrets.
Interesting fact: all units we are showing are proportionally scaled, so you will be seeing the same turrets on different ships, but at different sizes. This is how you can judge how large the ship will be in-game ;)

i dont know why, but i always had the impression that this ship was actually quite small. but looking at the size comparison, the stats i know about make SO much more sense.
