Heavy Quad AA Turret
The most powerful AA turret available, the HQAAT was a rare sight due to its high price and therfore was only seen on the most advanced warships, or by the extremely wealthy. Most notable appearances of the HQAAT were on the Kuati Ton-Falk Escort Carrier and the AFMK2. The HQAAT was a heavily armored turret that continuously fire 4 heavy AA blaster bolts with little pause in between shots. Although not as fast as the Rebel AA blaster, the HQAAT was relentless and filled the skies with enough heavy laser fire to make even the most skillful pilots reconsider their assaults.

What will these guns sound like when they go off? I have always been fond of AA fire and the Bofors' CHUFF CHUFF CHUFF CHUFF from WW2 is still my favorite. Are these just going to be straight lasers/blasters or will they have a chemical/rail component like the broadside guns from RotS?
Can't directly answer that, because I simply do not know.
In the X-Wing games these type of weapons used to have a sound similar to the Falcon's quad lasers just pitched a little bit higher (to reflect the higher rate of fire one might guess) with a more base-y echo type to it.
