Hetrinar Assault Bomber image - Yuuzhan Vong at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Behold the Yuuzhan Vong Army! This mod adds the Yuuzhan Vong Race as a playable faction and all units of this era. We are a community of modders working for the greater goal, so anyone who wants to help or support us is welcome!
So, i've never seen a take on this, but I am sure someone has tried making this somewhere, so I won't claim to be the first to invent it, but, This is our version of the Hetrinar Assault Bomber:
A 2-seat assault craft, the Hetrinar was armed with the standard 3 imperial green nose lasers and chin mounted light concussion missile, but its wing tips were replaced with red heavy lasers. Under the wings were mounted 2 medium ion cannons, technology that appears to be stolen from the B-Wing project and 2 Flechette Missile Launch pods where were capable of firing salvos of Anti-fighter rockets that could decimate an entire squadron of fighters.
The Hetrinar was slower than the Miy'Til, but more heavily armored and gunned while also having shields.

So we are working through our spreadsheet, and making sure we have everything accounted for. We do believe that all ship models are finished with the exception of 1 or 2 fighters here or there.

That is one sexy ship. Makes me think of the new Cylon raiders. Not a bad thing though. :)
Impressive as always! I sure am pleasantly surprised!
On a side note, I didn't think flechette missiles were utilized by anything other than the K-Wing or TIE Punisher, but then again, there aren't very many details on the Hetrinar on Wiki, so I guess I just assumed..
Hapans are pirates, they steal tech when they can, but during a war crisis, who is going to question?...

Very cool, kind of reminds me of the Cylon raider. Especially with the Anti-fighter rockets that can decimate a fighter squadron :)
It actually does look similar to cylon fighters doesn't it? xD
