Description
This thing is deadly.
So much fire power crammed into such a small maneuverable warship. The DP20 is the all purpose gunship for the Galactic Alliance. Armed with 4 dual medium turbo lasers, 4 medium dual lasers, 4 concussion missile launcers (angled cylinders) and 2 twin barreled fast tracking rapid blaster turrets for AA use, these things are nightmares for any enemy to deal with.

Slightly smaller than CR90, much more powerful.
The CR90 is faster, and good for anti-fighter defense. DP20 is more agile, but slower, and is used for chasing down corvettes and frigates.
So the story is don't expect it to live without other Corvettes escorting this monster for Anti-Strike Craft Defence lol
the DP20 and CR90 are support vessels, used to protect the larger ships and spearhead attacks. Larger ships will have longer range weaponry, frigates and cruisers will be the main battle weapons, but they will rely on ships like the CR90, DP20, Nebulons, Crusader gunships, Ranger gunships and Vangard gun ships for support.
fighers attack fighters, bombers deal most damage to ships, corvettes fire missiles, gunships defend from bombers and attack corvettes, frigates are front line escort ships, cruisers are main battle ships, battleships and dreadnaughts are the long range support/command ships. There is a hierarchy ;)

Turbolasers are easily see-able. Anyone can tell me were are those quads?
A good point yes. We have opted for a more future design than the one shown in your schematic. The design we have chosen features stronger armor, and refitting of more powerful dual laser turrets in replace of the quads and bottom 2 AA turrets. For this era, a heavier armored ship with more powerful weapons were needed to confront the Vong.
A realistic answer is that we are still experimenting with rotating/elevating turrets that auto-track targets, and adding that many for such a small ship would just not work.
