Behold the Yuuzhan Vong Army! This mod adds the Yuuzhan Vong Race as a playable faction and all units of this era. We are a community of modders working for the greater goal, so anyone who wants to help or support us is welcome!
With the Hutt partnership with Kuat (alternative storyline for those playing as the Hutt Empire), the Hutts requested a specialized dreadnaught to combat the remnants of the New Republic fleet. Always of fan of black market technologies and specialized weaponry, the Hutts requested that the design be built around a new weapon called a Static Discharge Emitter. The SDE was a giant ring structure capable of unleashing an electromagnetic shockwave powerful enough to take out the shields of all ships within its range (foe and friend). Relying on their heavily armored ships for protection, the Hutts would deploy this attack strategy, losing the benefit of their own shields while confidently relying on their strong mass driver cannons to obliterate the weaker hulled New Republic ships. As a special note, the Barrettor also features Ion weaponry, a rare sight on Hutt ships, thanks to the benefit of being Kuati construction. The Barrattor features a massive hanger, and blistering array of blaster cannons and mass driver turrets.

Holy crap! Whoever designed this is a freaking genius. Thanks Warb_Null, just the design is a proof of that. Everyone who is not aware of this mod should definitely be blown away by this masterpiece. Seriously, that is so outstanding and amazing, I just have a new favorite design.

The original design came from an artist on Deviant Art, but that artist is no longer listed there, nor his artwork. This ship design has been used on various forums such as Img1.wikia.nocookie.net.
I showed Warb the image and he quickly made it, I then added weaponry and details. Warb added the sails, which is a beautiful touch I must say, supporting the pride and arrogance of the Hutt empire.
I agree with you, it's just perfect for the Hutt empire. It's really one of those designs I would like to see as a canon Star Wars vessel and Warb made an absolutely masterpiece. Even now I'm out of breath, I really can't wait to see that thing textured.
I really like some fanon designers like Radojavor or AdamKop (DeviantArt) and sometimes I search for "new" artist which is not always easy in the mass of of fanon desings. I changed the backside a bit to make the engines a bit more powerfull looking and i added the sail to give it a bit more Hutt apearance.
The canon is imperfect and amendable in that regard anyway, IMO.
That is indeed a fitting design for a Hutt ship from Kuat Drive Yards. The models, and as said especially the planets, are intriguing work and give a promising outlook for the day this mod hits the net.
I wonder what other partnerships the Hutts mite have.

I've never been a great fan of the Hutts, but I think I will be playing them a lot. Their ship designs are just that awesome.

Strong armour, aoe skill to kill shields, mass drivers and ion weapons, big hanger and red sails with fleet command bonnus....does it have any weakness? O.o

Bear in mind that the SDE is next to useless against the Vong, since they don't have any shields... :/
