The 'ugly duckling' of the 5th fleet, the Agave-Class Picket Ship was built off of the hull of the Warrior Class Gunship. The Agave was built to contain a specialized cloaking device allowing the ship to perform stealth reconnaissance missions. Armed only with 2 dual medium turbo lasers turret and 2 dual light laser turrets. The Agave had tremendous Line Of Sight (LOS) due to its advanced sensor package and also housed a gravity well generator to prevent enemy ships from escaping to hyperspace.

The bottom hull of both ships are the same, as well as the wing pylons being used from the Warrior.
We are trying our best to adhere to the specifications of the Modernization program, where New Republic ships were created in 'pairs' to allow faster repair/production of ships.
The Agave is slow, lightly armored, but has great LOS, cloaking ability and a gravity well generator.

Looks vaguely Klingon. But I like it.
I always was intrigued by "Uglies" in the books they were just something that ive always thought of as interesting. The concept of taking different ship parts and putting them into on was always a concept that sparked my imagination.
