The Mandalorian Crusader-class Corvette
Revamped with upgraded weapons, the Crusader is still the fastest corvette in the game. Fast, nimble, good shielding, moderate armor and now featuring 3 quad light turbolasers for devastating AA attacks. The ship still features the flank mounted point defense weapon systems and the added radar scanner provides increased line of sight viewing.
Deadly, sleek and a fear inducing sight to enemy enemy pilot in the skies...

The most annoying lethal space unit in FoC. Even the Aggressor never cause as much trouble.
The Mandalorians are renown for their deadly weaponry. Incredibly durable armor, lethal weapons and stealth technology.
There is a reason why not even the Vong could conquer them...
I agree... I'm not sure I'm even pleased that this unit is in this mod, I have a serious grudge against it...
Don't get me wrong the turrets are Amazing...
While strong, fast and lethal, it has been given less weapons than the CR90 and DP20, 2 ships which are larger and have more weapons.
I have taken the overpowering into consideration, this ship is now more of a support ship like it should be ;)

This was always my Favorite of the corvettes, I am most impressed it looks perfect and it even has better weaponry(what else could us fans hope for). I am most interested to see what else the Mandos have in wait for the vong scourge.

Yes if you have played FoC at all, all consortium ships have the exact same design, the crusader looks like the vengeance, the vengeance looks like the keldabe, and that again looks like the aggressor, which in turn looks like an OP crusader. Only ship that doesn't look like that lineup is the interceptor frigate, which was designed for the original EaW.
Though they're all nice ships, there's not a hint of creativity to be found there.

I always loved using these...and hated when enemy ones found my fighters. XD
They were also OP as ****, they had much, much more lasers/second shot than any other corvette. 4.5 times as much as a tartan and 2.25 times as much as a corellian corvette. More hardpoints and less reload speed. And then that retarded point defence laser ability...
We have fixed this, only 3 lasers for targeting, but being quads they are powerful. The point defense is the ships primary feature and advantage now.

True, but the fact they are Mandalorian implies that they need to be more bad-*** then the competition.
IMHO a little bit off-balance is good in the case of Mandalorians. :)
