Hello folks, the mod is still alive albeit progressing slowly. I just setup a Facebook page for the latest news as it happens, sort of a live modding feed for those who are interested.

Above is the Dust Devil replacing the Scarab Drone. The Dust Devil is the new Soviet utility vehicle. It has three turrets: the standard machine gun to take out infantry, a repair arm to maintain damaged vehicles and a rocket battery for none-homing missile barrages. Entering an Engineer into the unit obviously transforms the turret into the repair variant. ANY other infantry types will utilise the rocket
pods for low grade siege warfare and hit and run tactics.

The Equalizer is a missile launched from the Science Lab. Upon impact it releases a short range electro-magnetic pulse, disabling most electronic units and structures. As named this can be used to equalize the battlefield if things turn bad or be used to disable enemy defenses during an assault. Be careful however as the weapon will not distinguish between friends or foes!

congrats on being an idiot *******..
may I ask every time I run a mod through a launcher it makes my screen hang-up and doesn't launch the game in more than 1hr. >.<
how can I fix this?
Hmm sorry to hear that. If you have gamemd.exe set in compatibility mode then make sure Syringe.exe is also set to the same mode, as otherwise there can be issues. Do you also use Comodo firewall by any chance?
nope, just simple built-in Windows XP firewall
I like this. Does it reduce the lag of the original RA2?
It plays very smoothly for me. I've taken as many lag preventing methods as reasonably possible and Ares itself also improves performance and load times by making the engine more efficient in places. So yes, it should play much smoother.
Download?
The first beta can be downloaded at Revora here: Forums.revora.net
Solid looking mod, hope to see it playable soon! ^_^
