The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.
These are pics from the first GDI vs NOD game that I just started. It's about 30 minutes in and the first Salamander teams and Kodiak teams are just hitting each other, just about the time I think they should be hitting the battlefield.
The result was a very satisfying battle to watch with GDI losing this fight, all be it NOD only had 2 Salamanders and a handful of Avatars / Raider Tanks left. And NOD in the end didn't win the war, GDI barely pulled it off with a well timed Ion Cutter followed by a strike force of Kodiaks / Juggernaughts / Zone Troopers / Mammoths / Orcas.
I'll say this, each force uses every unit now. Thats a change in and of itself.
The Salamander looks like a single-seat aircraft, lol.
Well, I agree with FlyingPancakes, that the Salamander cockpit should need to have covered in textures or just leave it there.
Yea I know. Do want to point out though that it looks exactly like the cnc4 version though.
You know, the B-52A had a similar cockpit as well.
I personally don't see an issue with it. People seem to think that it has to be considered a single cockpit design but it could also easily be a bridge with a large open area design so that people on the bridge can see everything around them.
