The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.

When both Dougbendo and Valherran think a model needs more work then yeah, it probably does need more work. So I went back into the model and figured out a way to get to editing it without causing the faces to just "break" which is a good thing. I was able to edit the waist and fix the chest area, I think it looks much closer to the pics. The head still bothers me though...... I may just kill it and redo the head all over. However in game it doesn't look bad. At least I don't think it does.

I also retextured the Mini-Tray and put it in there next to the Leo to give you a size idea, as well as next to a RGM-79, Gundam X, and Gundam GP01. All and all I think it shows the size differences between the different units.

Please comment below if you think anything else needs fixing or if you like it or not.

Next is on to animating the leo.

Mini-Tray looks alright. I think the colors on the Leo are too bright, dim them down about 50%. The waist looks much better and accurate, but the head and the collar bone area are still off. Hands look accurate now, but the gun still needs an overhaul.

Still working on finding the right color texture for it. The collar bone area is going to be an issue with this model, the original person who did it.... I don't know why they did what they did right there but its not easy to manipulate. Still I plan to keep working on it.

That pic from 3DS Max doesn't show the head changes as well as in game does. Still I agree its a bit of a mess, I really do think I will just redo the head from scratch. But at some point I have to think if its worth continuing to work on this one issue or should I move on to the next part (the Talgees). If I had infinite amount of time to work on it I would but just like I tell Dougbendo at some point I am going to just move on because I am only one person.

Hmm, still think the ammo drum on the gun needs to be made bigger. Those things were pretty large & currently the gun looks a little odd with the tiny drum. It's also missing the forward rader near the muzzle.

The Leo itself is otherwise fine ingame.

And those are the comments i need. I agree the gun needs some work, and a better texture. Thanks.

I agree, I just added the forward radar to it and increased the drum and handle by 50%. It looks much better now I think.

The Leo's looking a bit rough around the edges, though.

Description

Leo with additional work and in game next to other units as well as a retexture of the Mini-Tray which I think helps give it more definition in the game.
