The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.
One of the things we are trying to strive for is an Earth Federation that looks very light on structures. The idea of the Earth Federation in the story is that they are able to control as much land as they do successfully because unlike other traditional factions like NOD or their more direct enemy GDI they do not have stationary bases. Instead they use massive capitol ships like the Pegasus Class and mobile bases like the Bigtray and MiniTray to move their forces around and deploy them into hotzones directly.
To show this we have here the GM Sniper. This is based off the original Gundam idea of the GM Sniper, it is attached to 2 large power generators that power its beam sniper rifle. When the unit is not under attack it is generating power for the players base. When it comes under attack it diverts its power back to the Beam Rifle.
NOTE: WE DID NOT TAKE THE GM SNIPER 2 OUT OF THE GAME, this is just an additional thing. It replaces the basic EF Power Plant.
That is actually a really cool idea.
