UT40K: The Chosen Although 40K players and other Mod Teams may not have herd about us, we have in fact been going on, for quite a while. The fact that a ModDB page was never set up for us has only just been brought to light. We are a small but dedicated team, devoted to bringing the universe of Games Workshops Warhammer 40,000 to it's full glory, using the UT3 engine. While we have been toiling in the shadows, we have actually managed to release a Number of Public Betas over the last year and improve on them with each upgrade. We are devoted to remaining as close to the publish code rules as we possibly can, to the point where we have implemented both the JAM system, for the Terminator Assault Cannon, and a fully functional vehicle damage system, complete with Front, Side and Rear armour values and features all of the ways of disabling a vehicle (e.g. Crew Stunned, Weapon Destroyed, Immobilised and all the others) We have two mostly functional races available; The Imperium's...

Ok, this months build includes our on going intergration of the BF40k assets eg:- Imperial Guard, this brings the basic Trooper/Veteran/Kasrkin and LasGun/HellGun weapons, i'm like to point out none of these are selectable atm. Ok, this months build includes our on going intergration of the BF40k assets eg:- Imperial Guard, this brings the basic Trooper/Veteran/Kasrkin and LasGun/HellGun weapons, i'm like to point out none of these are selectable atm. Also this month has seen an update to the UDK build to include the new Landscape and Apex systems, Landscape will allow for much larger maps but atm is a little buggy to work with which is why the team test map looks "yuck", the Apex system allows us to build destructable parts into the game which could be fun by making blow up wall to get access to extra areas but at the cost of computer power which is why atm you'll only find 1 item in the deathmatch test map, see if you can work out how to break it ;) Hope you all have a bit of fun with the new build and i'll be posting on our Steam team section for whem we're going to have a testing session so see you there

Geo had a test.

The lasgun was a rapid fire weapon in BF40K it did not fire as fast as the hellgun however. The reload and recharge sound effects are missing i did not test the out of ammo sound.
The hellgun currently is not using its own sound effect.
Also add the multilaser effect to the chimera which should be rapid fire but lower rpm than the lasgun.
Add the lascannon effects to the Land Raider and Razorback.
To all those playing the mod I hope you enjoy what effects were made. This is the first time you will of heard them :).
Thank Sonic Valley.
