I've been meaning to ask this for quite a long time, but is there any particular reason why my game is still laggy (fps); it's all choppy and stuttery after about 15-20 minutes worth of gameplay, even when I have installed the ntcore.exe and such. I followed this tutorial to the letter, with the added ntcore install, but every time I've played this mod WITH the ntcore, it's been just as laggy as it is without it (minus the crashing). Any video I see of this mod being played, their gameplay is smooth all the way through. Is there something I'm missing or is that all there is to it? I just wanted to ask just in case I'm being an idiot and missing something simple. Thanks though guys, the last time I tried to install this mod, it never worked and I ended up breaking my game. Works fine this time round though, aside from the above mentioned laggyness.
That's odd. Whats your PC specs?

Again though, way back before when I had 2gb RAM and on 32-bit OS, it was still just as laggy as it is now. I managed to finish an hour long game just now, no crashes or anything, only very choppy until the last AI was going down, then it cleared up. I'm a bit lost. It's not all that much of an issue to me, as long as I can play, I'm happy. It's just a tad annoying from time to time.
Is your version of Soulstorm a CD Key or is it through Steam? Just making sure you didn't get the incorrect files.
My original copy is a CD key version, but since I found out that you can actually transfer physical copies of games to your Steam account, it's now a Steam version. I don't use the CD anymore other than for installing.
