Mmmmhhhhh.... Oh. Now that I recall, the last time I played a metamap campaign it was back in the time I was so inexperienced in DoW I had no hope of handling it on normal difficulty. Playing it again in UA now will be awesometacular. Anyways, assuming you're playing in normal difficulty, and that the ridiculous advantage you get in easy isn't an option, I'm not really sure of how customized the options in the Kaurava campaign games can be. A good chunk the stuff is hardcoded, afaik there's no way to easily set custom win conditions, so I'm afraid it'll have to be a same Kaurava campaign for everyone, with the only adjustements possible being the crude "steamrolling everything easy - normal - hard(core difficult as hell)" difficulty selection before starting the campaign. If the campaign is made too easy, then others will complain it's.... too easy! We can't please everyone and that brutish difficulty selection isn't helping xP -- How to improve performance on DoW: Soulstorm |

can you increase the max population cap? id like to be able to play with large armies like in skirmish. |
||

That's feasible, but it'd require editing stuff that honestly I have next to no idea on how to do. Lord Doofus should be able to (rather easily) pull that off but he's very, very, very busy and I have my doubt on the idea of him typing up a tutorial for this Personally, I prefer to face the challenge of not having gigantor armies at my disposal however, but that's me. I'm sure not playing the Kaurava campaign on Hard difficulty though. Normal and up to there. -- How to improve performance on DoW: Soulstorm |

What about adding to this code from kaurava.map: winconditions responsible for increased unit limit? Would something like this work: DefaultSkirmishWinConditions ={"annihilate","GameTimer", I don't think it'd work on strongholds propably... IF it worked at all. EDIT: it does work in skirmishes, I will to check out strongholds too. Edited by: Kaitenhammer |

I want new races in campaign! |
||
Dec 19 2013 Anchor | ||
Easier said than done. The Kaurava campaign is hardcoded to 9 races, so to get new races in we would have to remove some of the ones that already are in from it, which logically would disappoint many. -- How to improve performance on DoW: Soulstorm |

why dont you make it an option like you can replace certain races for others like the chaos with deamons or eldar with tyrinads or any race with any race so you can just make every race but one imperial guard |
||

Because by how DoW functions, each race replacement option would actually be a whole complete new Kaurava campaign. So: Edited by: Excogitatoris-Logica -- How to improve performance on DoW: Soulstorm |

If that does happen and is possible we might as well make a campaign with all 12 races. :3 but isn't |

How do you get the campaign to work in UA with the vanilla nine races? (I'm a die-hard IG player, so I don't care if Nids aren't available...) I've tried looking on the forums, but there doesn't seem to be anyplace to get that information... |

Currently, you will need to install 1.7 and 1.72.7 to get the campaign to work as 1.73's campaign is... crap in compared. So hence it was disabled. But if you do so, it is a huge downgrade, and I'd advise you wait til version 1.75 in the future. ^^ |
