I was watching Jordan's stream a few days ago and was trying to join them for a match. I don't see any games though when I press join game on online multiplayer.

I suspect the problem is that I am playing on a windows partition on a Mac. I know that to get online to work everyone has to have the same files, but i was wondering whether playing on a windows partition counts as "having something different". My setup is as follows;

  • Current Mac Pro with VMWare running Windows 7
  • Normal installation of THB (steam based) with Ntcore

Cheers guys.

Hi, I have a Mac also. There is no issue playing it with boot camp and windows partition. You could also play it in a vim, but a vim normally has issues using your
Graphics card like the native so, you will have some performance issues with the VMware due to that. I also had an issue with seeing online matches first go. I ended up just
Cleanly reinstalling soul storm from steam, the nods,chaos, and daemon hunters mods, and the ua mod. You also probably need to be at same mod patch version as
Your friends. Also, I have not had luck playing online with the apocolyzed maps.

My performance hasn't been amazing using VMWare (5 second freezes regularly) so maybe a windows partition on bootcamp might be a good idea.
