This thread is to allow the Codex addicts a freedom of expression about their areas of interest with the current ideology of Games workshop(GW) and the limitations of those who want finances.
We are not GW from what I know.
None of us are employed by GW money making for the share holders company.

All the points wanting codified psychosis is moot. :P

If that was the ideology, space crusade wouldn't of been made over 20
years ago. And with that Genestealers wouldn't of had scythes replacing
claws. As that was the first place Genestealers with scythes were seen
first.
I'm moving away from the GW codified psychosis....

Because as was seen 20 years ago, creativity adding to the current 40k universe we have today. :) Just one example.

We wouldn't have the splendid dark heresy, or any RP.
We wouldn't have a pc game.
We wouldn't have BFG.

Stifle creativity within rules and model developers will leave or lock models down to their own mods for financial benefit.
Release creativity and you get a much richer, "Easter Egg" filled environment. :)
