I would like to suggest that all melee units are granted an ability that prevents an opposing unit from retreating for a short period of time, to make them more effective since 9/10 times the opposing player/AI will just pull their troops back behind turrets, run away etc. Which imo decreases their effectiveness a lot, since they can't really do much damage if their enemy is constantly retreating and then coming back to open fire and then retreating again when the melee units start charging, which is frustrating (as seen by the AI behaviour)

It makes using melee units a lot less enjoyable and the only way I was able to beat the Harder AI was by constantly pausing so I could set up all my troops, move them away and then attack again as soon as the enemy units came within range, which would not be tolerable in an MP game.

EDIT: I think that a suggestions thread should be created as well..

or simply give melee units a faster movement speed than most projectile users. It does make sense considering things like Khorne berserkers tend to have a lighter load-out and greater strength augmentations to let them do their job. Compared to a Devastator loaded down with a plasma cannon, I imagine he'd be stuck there for the duration while the Berserker opened this on him.
