Problems:

1) Marauder can't implement bombing run properly due to old SS bug. So it is almost useless as bomber. However, it still perfroms well as some kind of a heavy fighter for IG.

2) In addition to that bombing run problem, Marauder has very weak bombs and relatively weak turrets.

3) It has an old bad anim, when upper turret engaging groun targets.


I suggest:

1) Vastly improve Marauder's bombs damage on explode and area of effect for all bombs. Especially for anti-tank bombs. I think this ability should be more deadly.

2) Slightly improve area of effect and prolong duration vastly for fire wall after ingition bombs run. Let's say... 60-90 secs after explosion. Also, improve fire damage and make it really hot and really deadly for infantry and its morale. So we will get a serious tactical advanage for useless unit, and turn it into really cool air support unit.

3) Disable top turret attack on ground targets. Improve its anit-air damage. Also, improve forward laser turret damage to infantry, planes, light vehicles and morale.

4) Allow Marauder to jump 2 or 3 times before cooldown, BUT decrease its jump speed (let's say, to Stormraven fury jump speed) and increase cooldown time significantly. This change will allow us to get it back to base before we have to buy a new one. Instead, there will be some time to repair it on base before new attack run. And no map obstacles! And it would be fair, because it's low jump speed will be enough for enemy AA systems to kill it.

This place is just a shining example of silence...

Yeah the maurader has and continues to be a fairly useless vehicle. What a shame.

As for the silence, well this may be a very popular mod that doesn't mean the forums will be super active.

You can definitely, DEFINITELY see some changes to the Marauder Bombers as far as I'm aware in the next versions of UA, guaranteed. ;)
