Made cos i don't see any general feedback topic. I like this mod but there are few problems im having. AI is the 1st one. I play on hard difficulty and i noticed if i play any 5/6+ ffa maps when it gets to late game and it turns into 1v1 i can almost never beat AI it just swarms me and i cant keep up reinforcing my squads or building new ones, also i have the feeling AI can just target specific units of mine with units that counter that type, in theory its easy but in huge battles which usually turn for me into giant mess this is a problem for a player. Ability using is another thing. Its good to have a lot of varied abilities but there is no way i can use all these different ability types effectively in midst of battle, i usually just end up using my heroes ability once and than he dies, AI on the other hand... All these grenades and some random abilities i dont even know anything about. Also i would like to know if AI gets bonuses to resources gathering rate, if yes how much on which difficulties. GEtting swarmed all the time just sux, especially if you cant swarm back because you run out of resources. Heros upgraded to max level still feel weak, i send them into fight look to base to order some more units and when i come back he is already dead, sometimes in a matter of seconds. This happened a lot when i was playing chaos and necrons so this lead me to believing that melee units are kind of garbage. Chaos terminators? Melted in a matter of seconds. Possessed marines? They did their job if they managed to used their flamethrower once i cant expect more from them. Thats why my fav relic unit is one of the tanks from guardsmen Shadow Titan or something, i think it has the best range of all tanks. Any melee relic unit is probably a waste. Weapons of mass destruction or nukes or whatever its called just suck really badly. Massive aeo wipe or dot that can be targeted anywhere is just... no. Say goodbye to your base or your entire army in a matter of second no matter who uses it player or ai. Unit variety is awesome and makes gameplay much more fun. Not sure how viable most units are because i myself just prefer to stick to my whatever is highest tier/deals most damage/have best range/whatever is. Basicly i have my faves for each race and i stick to them disregarding others most of the time, its always good to see variety in AI armies tho. Race balance is off. AI necrons always seem to get wiped out early. Tau and Eldar late game are just insane. SM i played quite a few times and i tried to like them but they also feel so weak i dont even know why no matter how many terminators and land raiders i get they always perform worse than my imperial guardsmen, Chaos i kinda liked but thats probably because they had nurgle version of baneblades with huge range. Also when i have big army i have problems moving them around if i order them attack move/move they just spread out all other the map and i have to manually order each of them to certain point, meanwhile they will get engaged upon and i just lose because my units are not in position or are stuck. Infantry getting blocked by big vehicles or vice versa is just horrendous, getting them unstuck is also quite painful. |

Strange about what you're saying with ffa. If you reach 1v1 moment, it should be the easiest part...unless that you stayed in your little corner of the map while remaining AI possesses most of the extra requisition point of defeated AIs When I play ffa, the hardest part is when two (or more AIs) decide to knock at my door (and it often happen that way) .
Hello? This is war(hammer) /jk
Again in win condition there is an option to make your troops use them automatically. I don't know how efficient it is as I don't use it. Still it exist something that potentially can help you. About heroes, they might act heroically, they are not gods. If you send them alone , hoping for the best, then what happen to you will probably happen to everyone
Disable them in win condition then...One of UA strong part is it's high customizability.
This might point why you feel AI is always countering you. Each kind of unit is useful to adress specifics problems. Learn about them *shrug*. The wider variety of troops you use the highest chance you have to reach (and succeed) any goal. That's a rule in any RTS/war scheme. This, +/or lot of meat bag to waste. Being specialized is first and foremost a weakness. What's the point of using an army of the biggest gun available if it has nothing to protect them against tier I melee assault troops? Just think about Tau and Kroots or... a tank versus a fly. Which one have the greatest chance to reach first the other Personally I exchange any tank for a flamethrower to address that. Dang! I can't, I spent all my money for an expensive and useless tank(or Heroe?).
True that and Cylarne is working about it but Necrons army by itself is one of the most capable faction of the game.
Ditto. But Eldar sucks early game. Tau are quite well balanced imho. A little OP late game (because of Greater Knarloc being insanely resilient), maybe.
Remind me something... Moddb.com
Revert back to normal difficulty then. Edited by: sinblood -- Check my profile for some Tyranids retextures (link provided in pics description) |

I don't know if anyone will reply to this, or even see this, but the model for the Nunciate Superior is severely messed up. Her torso is squished into her hips and her head is way too large for her body. If you guys could fix this (I know it's a small thing, but still) that'd be great. |

Please. Limit the amount of HQ's people can make. Im sick of games where i go in and they have 7 headquarters. and then i kill them all. and they build like 12 more to every deep dark corner they can find. |
