First of all, let me thank all of the creators for making the latest version of UA. Either way, I made this thread just to hear what anybody else thought of Crazy Insane (if you played with it before).

If I may ask to expand on your meaning? Is there a problem you like us to have fixed? Have you found any interesting aspects that is included in Crazy Insane addon that the UA mod team or players may be interested in hearing?

Or is this a discussion thread based solely on gameplay and tactics? How to beat a faction with Crazy Insane addon? Balance issues, etcetera?

Or would you like to know how other players play with the addon?

Well Lord, let me try to explain myself a little bit better. To answer all of those questions, I wouldn't mind this thread to be a combination of them. In terms of problems, the Necron AI seem to only build the attack scarabs. It is not until later until game (not sure when but I always play with Quickstart Resources on High Resource Rate) is when they'll build Warriors, Flayed Ones, and Immortals. Depending on the map, Space Marines and Chaos take quite some time actually building vehicles. I have yet to see them build their titans. Long story short, with the exception of the Orks, I don't think any of the races controlled by the AI really tier up as quickly as I thought, considering the fact that research (and subsequently tiering) is damn near instant. Keep in mind I play with Massive and Extreme Battles and Apocalypse Rules on Insane Difficulty. I don't know if it depends on the number of allies/opponents, but there's certain maps where the cap for infantry and vehicles is 135 after researching all cap research (with both Massive and Extreme Battles activated) while other matches the caps are set at 240. That's all I can think of as of now. Ever since the addon was first introduced, I have never played UA without it. I guess that's why I made a separate thread for this instead of putting it in the Bug Feedback.

For AI I think the original UA AI is not so effective especially for some race like Necron. But when I change some values in the build AI file and strategy to let the AI ignore some conditions that restrict tier speed, the Nec AI now act faster than before. The reason why AI sometimes is so slow is that AI will restrict the army size when low resource, and tier up sometimes attach with army strength so much. If AI is suppressed by enemies and loses so many army, they won't research. If they don't research, their res income will be low, and their army will be weak. As a result, this will become vicious circle, and race like necron who develops very slow will be pretty weak.

Really interesting to read. Regardless, I'm eager to see how this will be improved in the next few patches.
