So, a recurring problem I've had throughout my experience with this mod is it crashing to desktop - and producing a sound loop glitch that requires a restart to correct. This can happen either during loading, or at some point during gameplay, but the causes seem to be related - If I'm trying to produce a Skirmish game with 5 or more players, there is a good chance that it will crash on loading. Even if it loads properly, there is no guarantee that it won't crash 10 or 20 minutes into a game. I've also noticed that it's particularly prone to crashing if Chaos Daemons are involved.

For the record, I am playing on Windows 10, and I am using the DISK version of the game, not Steam. I've seen a patch on here that's meant to improve some issues with Steam, but that won't help me because I have a physical disk. I believe the issues are related to some sort of memory issue, though I can't say for certain as I haven't looked at the bug reports in a while and wasn't able to make much sense of them when I did.

Windows 10 is really finicky with games. I'd reccomend you do a full reinstall of the game itself as well as the mod, make sure all your drivers are updated, and be sure to use the LAA Patch for Ultimate Apocalypse.

If none of this helps, try going to the Ultimate Apocalypse Discord server.

Well, I had already applied the patch, and I'm hesitant to try uninstalling and reinstalling the either thing, not least of which because I'd have to track down the install disks and CD keys for the original and all expansions... so I'll take a look at the drivers, maybe try compatibility mode as well.
