So, I thought of this as my base was being constantly bashed by the necron superweapon(resulting in the loss of every single power-generator I had from the first hit), that some kind of void-shield system that could cover, say a 80M radius or something could be introduced. Maybe something with low hp(1000) resistant to ranged damage(70%?) And capable of blocking all superweapon effects. To nuke you the enemy would need to destroy it first. And also maybe it can have a moderate build time and be displayed on the may(without providing too much LOS if possible. Let's say a tier 4 item, normal cost of about 2500/3500 or anything else. But generally.....I meant a void shield of sorts

Any if this request is in anyway inappropriate or wrongly 'worded', my apologies....I mean no offense and this is my first post of sorts. :)

*and. This isn't working out well. (#T_T) XD

I would agree, save that the purpose of Nukes is to prevent stalemates, by the author's design. To introduce a shield against them would recreate stalemates.

Better not shield, but a chance to disable enemy's weapon or set it back to full cooldown.

I'm guessing the mod is more geared for multiplayer than vs bots, because the computer seems to just follow just one kinda pattern every game....

You can use conditions to restrict superweapons and other stuff only for the AI.

But I guess, it could be viable too while not being overpowered.
If the source is a structure, for example, with a build limit of only 1 and an effective radius just large enough to fit the respective races' HQ - which means there would still be ample space to protect a few other stuff too , preferably not just structures.

Or, it could be a structure that can create 2 personal anti-superweapon shields when activated on itself (1st shield) and anything else selected within its range of influence (2nd shield). The time the shield is active could either depend on a timer countdown, or just stay activated until manually disabled.
If it's the first (disabled after countdown timer), then there is nothing else to add - even if it protects not just vs. superweapon effects but everything.

If it's the second (disabled manually) and if it protects not just vs. superweapon effects but against anything else too (meaning provides complete invulnerability), then the provider structure's shield (shield_1) should provide only partial protection against non-superweapon effects /conventional weapons ~ thus while still protecting that single targeted asset from anything, it is not possible to crate a stalemate.

Either way, to make it viable and balanced, there should be little to no cost for activation, the shield stucture should not take up a lot of space, the re-activation cooldown should not be longer than the most spammable superweapon attack's cooldown in the whole game, and while the shield is active, the targeted structure's or unit's all available and active actions should be disabled ~ automatic self-repair and regeneration excluded if applicable.

This way there would still be possibility to break stalemates just as well as without such a shield, but with this, the receiver would have a slight chance of survival if it left alone "after the storm". Because right now if a fully researched super weapon structure launches every attack one after the other on the same area, no structures can survive there... some superweapon attacks are powerful enough on their own to wipe out every structure without stacking secondary and other such attacks on top of it.
