The installer seems to be excruciatingly slow to extract the compressed data which is around 9 gigs in size. I suspect this is the result of a lack of multithreading or use of excessive compression ratios. Either way I timed execution of the installer and than I went back and extracted the 7zip archive embedded inside the installer and installed the mod manually. During the manual Installation the computer took around 5 minutes to extract using 7Zip while the installer took around 15 minutes to extract the archive. It's fairly certain at this point that there is a bottleneck somewhere in the installer that is crippling the computer's ability to extract the archive effectively. While its not a huge deal as the mod is not updated frequently enough for this to be a major issue, it is still somewhat depressing to see this kind of performance on a i7 with maxed out ram and a SSD.

1. Installation is easy by unzipping many do not understand, namely, that many users do not know "what and where" to move.
2. Using the installer is really convenient.
3. Install mod takes less than 5 minutes (but I have SSD and i7 processors with graphics core)

Well, maybe since you have the expertise and maybe time, either try to make a fan made installer? Or talk to Cosmocrat/Lord Cylarne? I think its Cosmocrat that does the installer.
