UA mod team investigators have discovered an ultimate top secret UA team private discovery. Friday, December 28th, 2012, non scientists have not made an ultimate super duper elixir to the truth behind the scenes of the UA mod team superior release. They have revealed it this day.
Friday, December 28th, 2012; theorists discovered that a possible discovery of a top secret UA GR GE (Ultimate Apocalypse Grand Release Gold Edition) is in the making behind the scenes of the UA mod team after some immediate patches and huge releases of the UA GR (Ultimate Apocalypse Grand Release). Evidence is yet to be found, but another Grand Release, a better and improved version must be a possibility of all time!
An Ultimate Apocalypse Team member known as Cosmocrat was the first to think of the idea, planted in his mind were these words of epic upcoming ideas:
Cosmocrat wrote: I am going into fixing some of them older meshes including reaver and stuff so we can update them in the next patch and maybe release one day some kind of Grand Release Gold edition with EVERYTHING beeing glitch and bugfree finally and for the sakes of easy-installation.
But it is not yet official as of what is going on. Perhaps one day, the so called Ultimate Apocalypse mod 2 will be the candidate of completion. Lord_Doofus, developer of the Ultimate Apocalypse mod on MOD DB will state otherwise, that he will only continue this mod if it is doable enough to venture further, "donations, as it is the only thing that keeps me going from being uninterrupted from my real life, making a steady relationship with my girlfriend, start and finish development of my own game in the future and finish College at last." - Lord_Doofus
But other than the above facts, the Grand Release is proven to be one of the best mods if not the best in all of Dawn of War. Some people tends to disagree, yet some tends to agree; others just do not care. The Apocalypse mod Team says, "If the Grand Release is this good, bugged however, but THAT good, imagine the potential of the Grand Release Gold Edition!"
Since 2002 we have explored, played and enjoyed mods of all shapes and sizes just like Ultimate Apocalypse Mod (DOW SS). We love games like Dawn of War that have opened themselves up to modding. Because of communities like Workshop, Nexus, Curse, RTSL, GameBanana and Mod DB, more games support modding today than ever before.
Let's celebrate modding
As mods play a bigger role in the future of gaming, we believe it is important to recognize the effort the teams behind the work put in, giving us countless hours of enjoyment while asking nothing in return. We have the power to change our games and that needs to be celebrated to ensure it remains a big part of PC gaming's future.
It all started
In 2015, when the paid modding dispute left many gamers and modders worried about the direction the industry is headed. Things have since settled down, but we believe it is important to continue this small tradition to show we are not alone in our love for mods, and the open platforms that embrace them.
Mod Appreciation Week
Nothing is more motivating than knowing something you've built is being enjoyed by others. So this week if there is a mod you love on Mod DB (or anywhere else), make the effort to shout out to them, mention and link their mod in a tweet, blog, forum or facebook post with the hashtag #modlove2016 (or click the icons above for a pre-built post).
