Hey guys
So it's the middle of the week, I thought you'd want an update. 0.46 has been updated with all the art, and turned into 0.47. It's currently being looked at by Gorb and Thudmeizer who are going to be doing the Great Devourer Mode and AI coding respectively.
Once they're done we'll have 0.48 - which is our internal testing version. We'll be running about a week's worth of tests (maybe less), to see whether there are any glaring issues with it. If there are, Gorb will have to take a swing at fixing them. If there aren't, we'll release 0.5b1.
So nearly there now.
Update:
We might wind up taking one more week than we thought, apparently the AI team are a little snowed under.
Seems like our testing will start next week, and then you'll have it the week after.
Hows the progress for sound fx going?
Given we don't have a sound guy at the moment (seriously, they keep disappearing), about as well as can be expected.
Is the 0.5 update going to be added for Dark Crusade as well? Please say that it will. A lot of mods out here seem to abandon Dark Crusade and skip on to Soul Storm.
There's a reason for that. Dark Crusade doesn't have as much for us to work with as Soulstorm does.
So no, not for the time being. Probably not until after we complete the mod and release 1.0 in fact.
