Twisted Insurrection is a critically acclaimed, standalone modification based on the Command & Conquer™ Tiberian Sun™ engine. It features a complete redesign of the original game, set in an alternate "what-if?" timeline where the Brotherhood of Nod was victorious during the first Tiberian War. Do you have what it takes to drag the shattered Global Defense Initiative out of ruin? Or will you crush all who oppose the will of Kane and his Inner Circle? The choice is yours commander.
The Twisted Insurrection Client is nearing completion for the next public update, which should be ready before the end of this month. Here is a quick preview of the latest version.
sweet !! Will you add more maps ... i like alot of maps
Yeah, maps will continue to be developed even after the "final" release.
It would be cool if you could set tech level for each individual player. I always wanted that.
Perhaps there are ways to add more AI types? So along with Easy, Medium and Hard, you could have Basic, Advanced, and... Superior? Anyway, they'd all have a different Tech Level setting.
AI is still limited to just 3 levels. No way we can change that without any serious exe hacking ;)
It's fine the way it is. This isn't Age Of Empires, guys! ;)
but would it be possible to add one additional slider for each player where you can set tech level?
I just thing it would be so much fun to play as a tech level 10 against several tech level 1s at hard difficulty setting. infantry slaughter you know!
At least right now the tech level is a global setting that applies to everyone. In singleplayer missions it is possible to define a different tech level for each house, so with some executable hacking it would likely be possible to do the same for multiplayer; however I don't think there's enough demand for the feature for one of the hackers in the Tiberian Sun modding community to take a look at it.
thanks for reply
individual player tech levels would be great to have
Will there be an option for unlimited tiberium... as in resource pockets never "dry" up?
I think that could totally be an option.
Yes, that will be included.
Disable Tiberium Lifeforms is probably something I'm going to use a lot. Those things are almost always the sole reason why I lose, because they always come in as an army and just destrtoy everything I have then the AI moves in and finishes me off...
