Twisted Insurrection is a critically acclaimed, standalone modification based on the Command & Conquer™ Tiberian Sun™ engine. It features a complete redesign of the original game, set in an alternate "what-if?" timeline where the Brotherhood of Nod was victorious during the first Tiberian War. Do you have what it takes to drag the shattered Global Defense Initiative out of ruin? Or will you crush all who oppose the will of Kane and his Inner Circle? The choice is yours commander.
A Small city found basically in the middle of no-where. The citizens of Gamma city live a quiet and peaceful life. Not much happens here despite some very small Tiberium activity. Even though Tiberium has invaded the city, Gamma's inhabitants are still carefree as they have high hopes in Globotech to clean up the mess before military forces arrive to harvest the crystals.

that two towers in the near of the top right road...
are the capurable or what are they?
I think it is monuments of Globotech
Blue Earth Memorials, monuments set down in areas by Globotech (as dron1885 said). They sure no real purpose other than looking pretty, just eye candy.
I wonder if some Globotech units will fight back if hit... I mean when a player begin destroying their units/vehicles.
It would be interesting - you engage 'civilians' and they in retribution fight back or try to destroy the player's base...
AFAIK there's option of spawning units, so why not give Globotech more life and more AI? ;-)
Because there's certain limits that prevent the AI and the human players from automatically fighting back at hostile civilian units. We're coming up with workarounds though. Globotech's arsenal is more of a campaign role than anything else.
Interesting... skirmish mode is important though. When the campaign is completed, only skirmish and multiplayer modes remain. :-)
Multiplayer always comes before singleplayer and that's why I'm not implementing hostile Globotech units into skirmish maps. As I've said, limitations make it really buggy and it's just not worth it.
To Westwood's shame, they didn't have enough time or enough passion to do more than they wanted to. But, on the other side, maybe if they made everything right and even more than expected, we wouldn't make mods...
True, but we don't HAVE to mod anything, most people mod for a hobby, like I do. I only mod TS cause it's fun, not because I have to do it. ;)
Pression, stress, deadly deadlines (which mean sacking) at work. (Yeah, that was a pun. ;-)) We don't have any of this poison to our minds or hobbies. Unfortunately, unempathic policies destroy many great things...
I wonder if we somehow "have to" mod. But this is soul, which has to do it, not body for living...
Lets not go nuts. ;)
Okay. ;-) Everyone's his own philosophy... :-D
Another nice map... ;-)
Looks like their hopes are in vein.
I look forward to battle there.
ANOTHER MAP! >.<
I don't understand why you don't like the thought of additional maps to chose from. Yuri's Revenge had at least 100+ maps to chose from which is one of the reasons why I liked it so much, one thing that strategy games need is variety, which TS lacked and TI doesn't.
Just ignore those people. It's your mod/game, not theirs. :-)
Exactly. =)
As I said somewhere already, I like those many maps, adds a good load of variety in the game. BUT, I really wonder if you could do a remake of Casey's Canyon maybe?
We'll remake some TS maps for Twisted Insurrection, there's already a work in progress for the 'A River Runs Near It' map.
Cool.
You can wait for the release of TI map editor and some later make your own remakes. ;-)
