Twisted Insurrection is a critically acclaimed, standalone modification based on the Command & Conquer™ Tiberian Sun™ engine. It features a complete redesign of the original game, set in an alternate "what-if?" timeline where the Brotherhood of Nod was victorious during the first Tiberian War. Do you have what it takes to drag the shattered Global Defense Initiative out of ruin? Or will you crush all who oppose the will of Kane and his Inner Circle? The choice is yours commander.

Sweet. I was wondering if you were going to update the launcher.

I don't see the "Allow Twisted Dawn units" option.

Because it will be a game mode, not an option. :P

Now that I see it - it's too much hidden. DTA's position was much more convenient. Or maybe it should have a line separator between maplist and that - not pairing it with maps.

Also, the fact that somehow I bought a glasses which ultimately didn't suit my eyes last year is none of your business, honestly. I'll keep it regardless because I won't pay another fortune to replace it just after a year - it's still better than what I had before which got so many scratches in the long run that it ruined the lenses forever - but iirc I got that in 2006, and 7 years are 7 years.

DTA has the game mode selector in the same place as well. Classic / Enhanced is a game option however, not a game mode option. Game modes in DTA are Default, Scavenger, Survivor and Co-Op (Hard / Medium / Easy).

Would it be possible to have an option to enable/disable Tiberium creatures, similar to what Tiberian Sun had?

It's a possibility, sure. Probably a good idea. Visceroids however would need to remain due-to the Infector's weapon.

This is really good. Nope, great.
I try to suggest something, hope you'll find something useful
Fun with tiberium:
Growth speed regulation - useful game speed co-regulator;
Maximun field size regulator - choose it like you choose your favorite pizza;
Random patch creation (via rifts or meteors);
Tiberium contagion on\off - this switches opportunity when tiberium contacts vanilla organics and vegetation, like forest or grasslands (copse pits,oil reservoirs,lol) it will grow more rapidly, and will have a chance to spawn a blossom tree. Also, water could be contaminated.
Imagine, how much fun it will be to фuck up an entire map with brand new tiberium fields and vegetation...;
Random tiberium fauna attacks - says for itself.;
Random Veinhole monster spawn (for some time interval) - for those who lack constant headache from those pretty tentacles of destruction:

Warfare tweaks:
Realistic ballistics - doubles, triples (even more for artillery units) the firing range of any unit, because current ingame can look ridiculous to players familiar with real life weapon ranges, also multiplies blast area in the same way for explosive ordnance;
Infantry/Vehicle/Air only game - says for itself;
Instant Veterancy - units start already in veteran rank;

Fun:
Zombies - every infantry unit killed in battle will rise in 2 minutes and try to "bite" other infantry and slould be killed again.
Unlimited hero units build order - make your wet dreams about a horde of CyComms riding Mammoths mkII come true.
Unlimited superweapon build order - no comments.

Thanks for attention...

How about a game mode in which Globotech is playable? I know the Globotech faction is far from playable, but it's a thought. Additionally it would allow those who object to the idea to play without Globotech. It would be similar to the "Twisted Dawn Mode."

Description

ModDB, have a first look at what we're currently working on now! As most of you are aware, TI uses the same client as DTA meaning all the additions in DTA client are now also possible in TI, with the exception of some of their options that we have chosen not to adopt (except for Enable Ion Storms because Bittah Commander is a god damn genius and was okay with us using it).

The conversion of the client is almost complete. Things such as Spectator mode, re-sizable windows, new game modes, co-op mode and tons of custom options are now a possibility. The graphics you can see are a work in progress and will be updated as time goes on.

There are many options to come soon and we are open for suggestions. If you have an idea for a skirmish option, please share your suggestion with us, if it's plausible and a nice idea we will make it happen!
