Tsardoms: Total War is a M2TW and Kingdoms modification that focuses on the Balkans, Near East, Eastern and Central Europe, Italy and Switzerland, starting from rise of the Serbian Tsar Stefan Uroš IV Dušan in 1345 and concluding in 1530. Tsardoms allow you to take control of over 25 factions all complete with brand new artistically crafted warriors ready to do your command! The aim is to provide the player with the best possible accuracy, in all sectors of the game, and to stretch the limitations of the M2TW engine, through scripting and AI enhancement, for a gameplay never seen before.

Roman Emperor

It was very hard to find a balanced way to show the Roman Emperor of the XV century. Images are usually full of anachronistic armour. So we thought that we would find a middle way, we gave him plated armour but added some decorative pteruges, plumes on his barbuta, purple cape and the famous boots with the Imperial eagle. We are aware it's not 100% historical but we really wanted to make the Emperor look unique.

Ok, honestly Roman Emperor looks cool as heck. I hope some Byzantine units get similiar treatment!

There will be some Byzantine units which will get a late era upgrade. But they will look pretty much Western.
