TradeModC&C: Tiberium Wars mod | Released Mar 1, 2008The main principle of the mod is to send transports of varying kind to your team mate, deploy the units, and have your Ally capture them with their 'Envoy' unit. To Build any of the new units will require you to build a 'Trade Centre' which is available on the main build queue screen. Read the included Readme.txt file for more detailed information. This mod only works with human players, AI players will not use the new trade units. We plan to make each factions trade units have unique abilities in V2.0 of this mod, eg stealth/speed for NOD Transports, Armour/weaponry for GDI and flight/teleport for Scrin. If anyone has a mod which they would like to have TradeMod incorporated into please get in touch with us.

1 comment by MidiPrefix on Nov 5th, 2008 digg this super bookmark CoreAngel dissapeared, which is really dissapointing as she was going to be making models and creating the 'on the fly' alliance system that would have really made this mod something at least partially worth while. If anyone knows how to do these things and has the time please contact me as I'd like to finish this little project.

Havent done anything to this in ages, haven't had time, to answer GenReapers question(s), it should be possible to set the AI to 'use' the trade units, but.... I'm not sure if im right here but, I'm pretty sure the AI doesn't actually use resources in the same way human players have to, it kinda cheats, i think. So the trading stuff might not work too well for them, not sure, anyway I have no idea how to do the AI stuff anyway, so I definitely wont be doing that. Walls has allready been done in other mods I'm pretty sure. if anyone wants to help out with this, even though it should really be re-made for kanes wrath.... then feel free to contact me. We still need models for the new units and structures, really just the scrin one absolutely -need- doing as they should fly and currently don't for various reasons revolving around graphics. if anyone is still interested in this post here or something. I'll just release the source code soon as I dig it off my hard drive and stick it up here for others to work on. Not sure that I can keep working on it until I get someone to help with the graphics, I just don't have the time. Another mod falls to the graphics issue arg! I just realised. I dont think the latest version is even up here.... will get that up once I find those files too
trading is good in age of empires 2 and this is the true way!
Is there a way to modify the AI so they actually use the new trade systems and can you add walls?

I really want to get some screenshots up of the new models from CoreAngel, but even I haven't seen them yet. Hopefully she will get them to us very soon.

I am aware of the lack of screenshots/images.
I am working on it, but I need the other modder (RaptopLob) to create screenshots for this mod, as my machine cannot run the game on much more than minimum graphics settings. These would obviously not be of acceptable quality. Screens will be up as soon as RaptopLob gets a chance.
