Tiberian Sun Rising was a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tierian Sun RIsing brings back GDI and Nod battleing it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expect lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether...

This is why we took quite sometime to show the Hand of Nod, we wanted it to be "just" right when we did. Was a tricky one many thanks to Luke for his hard work on this one. We also wanted to stray very true to the source material by Eric Gooch.

anyways I still think the Nod Power plants should have the Nod logo on them like the first version you made.

The rings are alright. The MCV is awesome!
The only thing I hope is that the warfactory will get a less GDI-like appearance, it's really boxy right now.
PS: Thanks for the present :)

Ah nevermind then. No I've never played Tib. Sun, so I thought it would have been more stealth-like.

I do know what you mean, this Nod War Factory asset is an older asset that will be seeing a replacement down the track with more detailed model most likely.

The texture is a bit odd, why didn't you go with plain concrete?

The render by Eric gooch had a pattern of grey and black metal or concrete, the artist who textured it textured it with a circuit board pattern over the hand which turned out to look really cool.

I also like the extra suggestion by the circuit board design (eg makes sense given Nod now has Cyborg forces produced by the Hand of Nod). So think it works well.

The detail, on full resolution, especially on the lighting of the Hand of Nod(s) is amazing. They way the light reflects from the surface really makes it look like real-life hard concrete. Amazing. Small things like that can matter.

"The fallen over Hand reminds us of the loss of the First Tiberium War, but also symbolise's that we are not defeated"

Now I understand why westwood design TS HoN that way. It fits in perfectly for the brotherhood.. Both westwood's intentions and TSR's modal. :D

That's the way I always thought of it, and I could have sworn it says something like this in the manual.

Another way to look at it is it represents Nod clawing its way back to the world stage after being presumed a controlled threat (via Hassan) *with the hand reaching out of the ground*.
