Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tiberian Sun Rising brings back GDI and Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expecting lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether.

Now this is what I call perfect. :D
Damn the blue thunder on that lil vehicle looks awesome.
Oh, might be nice to do a bit more with the rings (not bigger or such but like little extras inside it).
Anyway very good job. :)

Walls are built *from* regular wall hubs, however it is possible to build them *to* component towers if the player wishes.

What will the wall hubs look like? same as in C&C 3 or did you make a new model?

The pavement underneath the ConYard, Barracks and Power Plant is really awful, you guys should smoothen those edges, like with the War Factory and radar. Besides, that's how they look like in TS on those buildings, not like they've been puked underneath the buildings, which is how they seem to look now.

Besides, why have half of the buildings with awful pavement and half with good pavement?

The difference in pavement is due to the structures being made at different stages of development. We simply didn't make it a priority to get all of the older assets up to the quality level of the newer ones, that's something for the last stages of development.

Yes our first focus is to finish the mod with what we have, going back and patching up older asset's with newer ones is on the table.

I almost can't believe how fast you progressed over the past months you guys are getting closer and closer to the final product, it's just amazing!

Alex_06; I agree with you, they should smoothen the edges on those buildings.

These rings look a little bit TOO MUCH :) You should make them thinner or something, this way they are drawing attention from the battlefield :D

Do limpet drones do anything new? As far as i can recall, they were not worth buying in tibsun.

I'm glad you asked they do, have a new function!

There is an Infiltration Mode and a Sabotage mode.
Infiltration mode functions much like it did in Tiberian Sun, focus is to see through the enemy vehicles eyes to find Stealthed Nod base's or just where even an enemy GDI base is.

Sabotage mode:
The Limpet Drone damages the target vehicle from underneath ripping its guts out. Over a period of time will eventually destroy the vehicle if not removed via a Repair Bot or Service Depot. When it destroys an enemy vehicle it will automatically re-burrow itself in the ground to prey on another target. *This can be really nasty to Harvester Supply lines*. Yes its kinda like a Terror Drone but with the ability to burrow *thou cannot move* it is hidden from view unless a Detector is nearby.

This gives the Limpet Drone a number of use's and you can switch between the two modes at any time. So once you've gathered enough Intel on scouting, you can go Sabotage mode and start causing some trouble :D.

Am I the only one that notices that limpet drones are nod and NOT GDI?

To quote the Firestorm manual:

"The Limpet Drone was developed as an optional method of detecting Nod bases blanketed with a stealth generation field and has been used by our covert operations teams... It is rumored that Nod has also procured this technology."

Thankyou Aurum, however the Limpet Drone will not be available to the Brotherhood of Nod in Tiberian Sun Rising. *said rumor proved to be false :)*. They get something else instead which GDI doesnt.
