Tiberian Sun Rising was a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tierian Sun RIsing brings back GDI and Nod battleing it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expect lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether...

Can't wait for the release, but something feels off about the Titans in comparison to the turret...

i kinda have to agree with him on the titan, it seems... plain, try and add some sort of battle damage to it you know like what you did with the Hover MLRS with the rocket firing burns on the turret, or some dirt patches to try and fill most of the plain spots, anyways, looks good hope to see it in action :D

Agree, The plate that the turret turns on looks to flat when the turret is facing side ways, its hard to explain, it just looks off.

Read the manual! The Wolverine is 2,5 meters whilst the Titan is 7,5! It's a huge difference!

it's understandable that people use the TS voxels to make size comparisons until you see the mammoth mkII ingame in TS..

Hmm it look nice, but iam more interested in how it looks when the base is destroyed. Focus on that instead whit the "GDI" because that will be a much more common look on the battlefield.

Peace through power!

I don't get it, isn't it so that, first comes the GDI Radar then Tech Center and then Upgrade center for the Ion cannon, Hunter seeker and Drop podes, why now this mix of the Radar and upgrade center? I don't get it, will somebody tell me what this is about?

It is quite well known to those in the C&C Community or anyone who viewed the very early Tiberian Sun Screenshots *or ppl who played it at E3*. That GDI originally had an Upgradeable Communications Centre, and the Upgrade Centre was added late in the development. Probably because Westwood felt they were putting too much importance/reliance on the Radar structure. Which I tend to disagree I feel it adds added importance to the structure and makes it unique from Nods Radar, and I see little to no justification in even having an Upgrade Center it always felt unnecessary and awkward in the game.

Heres the screenshot:
Cnc-source.com
you can see it on the far Left. This 3D render from Westwood shows a better view of it:
Cnc-source.com

Also if you go through Tiberian Sun's source files you can still find the ingame artwork for the Old Comm Center, if your a modder you can easily re-enable it in Tiberian Sun.

And as a added reminder this is not a remake but a redesign/next evolution of Tiberian Sun. For example on Nod your going to see some brand new designs for things to help make both factions completely unique from one another.

I was thinking about more upgrades to the Radar. How about a GDI Spysat uplink (working like the Allied equivalent in RA2)that reveals the whole battlefield?
A sensor array upgrade which detects stealthed and subterrainean units, but covers a much larger area than it's mobile counterpart.

Description

This surveillance shot reveals GDI's newer Modular Radar System, it can be upgraded with plug ins. Two we have observed are the Drop Pod Control Node and the Ion Cannon Uplink. Nod Commander's be advised this is a high priority target when encountered.
