Yes, we finally did it, we have out a first playable version of Tiberian Apocalypse.
Changelog:
-Replaced all GDI ground vehicles beside Harvester MCV and Juggernaut with new units:
--Titan.
--Wolverine.
--New APC.
--Hover MRLS.
--Hover Disruptor.
-Riflemen ,Missile Trooper and Sniper have new Weapon models.
-Orca refills in mid air and does not require a landing pad anymore (to fit it with Nod's Venom).
-Added Orca Bomber and Dropship.
-Removed Firehawk, Orcas can attack Air units for exchange now.
-Added walls to all Factions.
-New models for Blue and Green Tiberium.
Installation:
Create a folder called "TibApo" in "C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\My Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\mods" and put both files from the .rar in there. Now open the CnC3 Central, and klick gamebrowser, select "TibApo" and launch.
Oh, and, have fun!
Hi MC, just wanted to give some feedback:
- The Tiberium is displayed incorrectly on highest settings, appearing mostly black. Might be a shader or alpha channel problem.
- All new unit icons have inverted transparency, displaying only black outlines.
- All new units lack name, type and description strings.
- The APC´s wheels don´t move, probably a WWSkin error.
- The Transition animations of the Dropship are cut off.
- The Housecolor on the Titan and APC is always displayed as white.
- There´s no Orca Bomber, but the Firehawk can still be built.
- The Hover Tank´s gun FX bone is placed a tad to high (above the muzzle).
- The Disruptor shows a smoke puff and ejects and empty case when firing.
Nice mod btw, keep going.
It's a kind of very early beta, and about the firehawk, did you build it or just see the icon? Because I'm absolutely sure that it should build the Bomber :/
Yeah, I absolutely positively killed every damn orc in that... no wait, that´s the wrong text. :P
Anyways, I was able to build and use the Firehawk, it isn´t changed at all.
About the housecolors: Sure? I never had that problem, also the Titan doesn't have housecolors yet.
Well I´m not exactly sure if they are supposed to be housecolor, but both the Titan and APC have relatively large, white parts.
The Titan has this on the turret´s dome and on the cannon joint, the APC has this on the rear (especially the door).
No, they are no housecolors, but skin parts.
