almost the c&c 4 Kodiak. With small changes. but they have the biggest effect
Looks like hes going to direct damage vs splash damage the CNC4 Kodiak battle ships do.
It still deals considerable splash damage.
hopefully nod gets some ships to, would be awesome to make a space map xD

But its supposed to be Helge's rendition of CNC3. His adding what he feels may have been forgotten and what he feels is right.
Actually it more or less makes C&C 3 the way Westwood's C&C 3 would have been.
hmm thats true too! im sure if westwood were still alive they wouldnt make a same game with same units just 3rd! im sure it would head like this, with space warships and new walkers, since we had space ships in TS era already!

I might reinstall 3 for this, and put my HDD space back to like 1.5 GB or something. Impressive mod!
IDK why but "grizzly" just doesn't quite cut it. maybe you could rename it with something like GDS Apollo battle cruiser or something along those lines?

I really don't understand the problem with the name Grizzly, it fits perfectly when you consider what the TS Kodiak was and what it was named after.
Not to pry it is just not "iconic" enough for such a unit. If this unit is created it must be a legendary unit. Good price, a powerful attack, and possibly the most important thing is an intimidating and strong name and "Grizzly" just does not feel like an intimidating or strong name.
I Don't mean to be rude or disrespectful. I am just a core fan of the legendary Command & Conquer franchise hoping that this extremly impressive mod is for real.
Well, the thing is this: The name of the most agressive kind of Bear out there is pretty intimidating.

You know i would reccomend the name "Spartan class Battle Cruiser" but i am sure i would get spammed by halo fans.
a battle cruiser named after someone like master chief huh... you're probably right, but then again, this ship is the successor of the kodiak and the kodiak is a bear so i guess it's fitting to name it after a bear. i realized that just now.
they could also name it "the pillar of autumn" or "cairo" or "halcyon class battle cruiser" or stuff like that. i bet halo fans who like this mod will definitely have something like that in mind.
yeah you are right. i just cannot think of this unit with this name.
imagine using the name in sentences though. it just does not sound right.
But you must admit kodiak does sound alot nicer and better.
but i dont think helge129 will change the name regardless of what i or anyone else thinks even if it is a majority.
so i have put the whole thing beside me and just admire the kickass ship itself without the name.
If you come up with something that fits better than Grizzly for the successor, and more agressive version, of the Kodiak, then I might change my mind, but Grizzly is so far the name that best fits.

Great model for a GDI heavy aircraft, and now that I've thought about it the name Grizzly isn't that bad either. ;) If people don't like it, how about naming it the Kamchatka? Looking forward to using it ingame, and seeing how it compares to the infamous Scrin equivalents.

Based on bears: Kermode, Ursid
Other Names: Pegasus, Nidhogg, Manticore, Chimera, Avenger, Behemoth, Caladria, Juggernaught, Leviathan, Roc, Hurricane, Archangel
Whether any of these names tickle your fancy remains to be seen. just do what you got to do.
The next name i will recommend for the ship is a name i use often. The Atragon.
Most of those sound very Nod-like imho. There is already a Juggernaught.
Grizzly is the most agressive Bear ever, so I don't see what's wrong with it?
at this point all i am hoping is that the unit is epic. the name is no longer important to me. Great design though.
i do agree with your pricing 3500 credits and that it deals good splash damage. the reason i reccomended a higher price before is that it looks like it can attack aircraft while the mothership cannot.
however the reason i would reccomend the name the Atragon is because it is inspiration from an old film with a similar capital ship.
It looks like one of the few C&C4 units that I like.
I assume the engines tilt downward when it isn't moving. Will they be cockeyed when it turns as well?
