Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.

Is the military strength calculated from the population and population cap?
If I had a population cap of 100 and build 30 stormtroopers (30/100) would I have a military strength of 30?

Cheers

It looks like it's your fraction of the total galactic population.

It's your fraction of total galactic combat power, the same metric used to determine the graphs.

Thank you, but I am still not sure if I understand it correctly.

It's the total of your units (ground and space) as a share of all the units (ground and space) owned by everyone across the galaxy.

"Combat power" is basically a stat assigned to each unit so the game/AI knows roughly how powerful it's meant to be (in TR, right now it's based on health and theoretical DPS with some adjutments in there), and this percentage is what the total sum of each factions' is compared to each other on the galactic map.

Would a total casualty count be possible? Something to track how many ships are lost per sides? It would be cool to see at the end of a campaign how well or poorly you did. I know you get after battle and I could just add them myself but I was curious about it.

That would be a bit of a mess and resource hog to track and record anywhere I'd think

Description

We've been talking about improving documentation in the mod, and this is one part of a series of quality of life changes to help people have more accessible information while ingame. The history graph in EaW has always been helpful in figuring out who still has what, but unfortunately in a mod like TR which adds factions beyond the original 3, it's not super useful because they can't be added. So, Evilbobthebob has created a stats page in the mission holocron which will tell you at any given time how many planets everyone has, what their proportion of the galactic military power is, and other information (currently, it says what the income is for other factions- this may change)
