You might go for a bit of contrast. So far you have a green planet, with a green nebulae, a red planet with a red nebulae...and so on. Total contrast could really draw the eye.

This is amazing as it is though :D! You've gone above and beyond.

I 'm glad you like them. I however completely disagree with the contrast comment. Having say a blue planet with a red nebula would simply not look right(aesthetically for a game). I would much rather have a general colour scheme for each map and have continuity of that theme than having a jumble of different coloured objects (for a lack of better words).

I have to agree. Doing different shades of the same color or similar colors gives every map a unique feel to it, and lends to a more tranquil, natural atmosphere. Many different contrasting colors causes even more conflict on the map than there will already be. You already have to fight the opposing forces. You shouldn't feel the need to fight the nebulae as well.

All of the planet textures have been finished so I'll be showing these off as regularly as I can. In the pictures today you will notice however some new space nebulae. Most of them are made from scratch; a couple however feature some NASA pictures I particularly liked (and were of suitable quality). A brand new planet texture for Terephon.
