Fiery Demise Skirmish Map image - Empire at War Expanded: Thrawn's Revenge mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.
This skirmish map had been planned before the base release but I never got around to doing it. Seeing Cheezecake (check out the Legacy Mod)make an ash particle (and other props) finally reminded me to make this map. Fiery demise features three (two in pictures) brand new high resolution planet textures, a new nebula background, two new ash particles for space and four new asteroid prop textures. Enjoy!
i just want to say that this most recent addition of screenshots is absolutely amazing. i don't think i've seen a cooler looking background to add to a Star Wars space battle, excellent work and kudos. c:

...out of curiosity, which planet is this?
That texture is for Qat Chrystac. However in the case of the skirmish map it's just a random planet because a vast majority of my space skirmish maps do not take place in canon locations.
