Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.

Gladiator and Secutor, two of the new PA ships for 2.2 We'll have a news post fairly soon with all the changes to the PA including units and heroes (and by the time of release, of course, the icons will be there).

Should we expect to see 2.2 in the next couple of months?

Niiice! Always felt the Pentastar were short on heroes; and some unique ships will be nice to see too!

I noticed on the Quaser model from 2.1 that it has a Garrison_00 Bone atached to it and that most of the xml code for star fighters in the New republic space units file have Garrison_Unit Attribute Behaviors. I have tried getting the Quaser to actually act as a carrier (transporting fighters), but it does not work. Have any ideas?

None of that does anything in game. It acts as a carrier by spawning its own fighters, like any other carrier or ship in the game.

Yeah, it's Sariss, a powerful Dark Jedi, nice addition.

What kind of space unit will she command?
A Venator?
A Gladiator?
An ISD?

Preferably something that's NOT an SSD so the Pentastar can also finally have a hero in space Skirmish!

BTW speaking of units, since there's apparently a bunch of new ones coming around, will the actual "Empire" (aka the Remnant) retain the Acclamator and Venator on Tech 4 and 5 or will they become Pentastar-only units?

Sariss will be a ground-only hero. The Remnant unit list will be pretty much unchanged.

Ah I see, well, I guess that means still no heroes for Pentastar-Space skirmish.

I'm actually pretty ok with the Remnant's unit list not changing as it leaves me still two factions to play when I get my "Venator-fanboy"-vibes, lol.
That ship is easily my top favorite designwise and despite it being an old, no longer frontline ship by the time TR takes place I'm still impressed how much it still fits in with the other units regardless. I have three mods installed to cover most Star Wars eras in the legends branch, Republic at War for Clone Wars, Awakening of the Rebellion for Civil War and Thrawn's Revenge for post-Endor and in all three the Venator can be used as a measuring point for how ship development goes.
In RaW it is one of the strongest ships, in AotR it is mediocre but still a force to be reckoned with while in TR it is by now so old it is practically a glorified Escort Carrier/medium frigate with better weaponry.

That being said, where does the Gladiator-class stand powerwise? Roughly equal to a New Republic Assault Frigate or a Strike Cruiser or more like a beefed up Acclamator?

Sariss isn't the only hero being added, however even without any new additions, they've always had Grant.

Gladiators are somewhere between Carrack and Strike Cruiser in terms of sheer firepower.

Are you guys going to up the health and sheilds of the venator at all? I feel like it's nowhere near as durable as it should be even though it's an old warship. Even if it is an outdated and reactivated design I would expect some modernization refit to take place to make the venator's shields able to take some damage.

Description

For the past few versions, we've been using Bastion as the de facto capital of the Pentastar Alignment. This is not entirely accurate, so in 2.2, we've added the actual capital of the Alignment, Entralla.
