Thrawn's Revenge is a large-scale mod for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It includes the events of the Galactic Civil War after Palpatine's death at Endor, up until the signing of the Pellaeon-Gavrisom treaty. If you own the Steam version of EaW, you will have to complete extra steps to run the mod after installation. Please see the manual for these steps.
We're at the point where every GC is now at least ingame and we're setting everything up, so here's a look at what the screen will look like when picking your scenario. Still a few tweaks to be made, but we're almost there.
If you want to see more of what goes itno the modding process, today (March 5th) at 5pm EST I'll be livestreaming some mod work on the GC scenarios at:

I am sure someone has asked this already but is there any way to fix the strange previews with the systems around the edge?
Unfortunately that seems to be hard-coded, which is especially frustrating because the one on the GUI in-GC seems to scale fine.
Hmm, wonder why the New Republic would be considered hard, do they start with less planets or spread way out now or something?
Probably because of how spread out they are as well as the occasional planet within their territory that isn't owned by them.
That and the fact that the IR, Pentastar, Zsinj, Maldrood and Eriadu Authority all have access to super ships like Executors, Allegiances, Torpedo Spheres or Praetor IIs in era 1 while the strongest the NR can field is the MC80b (I dunno if the Home One-type can be counted as well) and some new anti-fighter units like the Raider Corvette make it harder for the NR to play out their fighter superiority.
Bring on the challenge also I am save scumming as much as I want no heroes die on my watch
I don't really see that being too much of an issue, especially since the EotH is marked as easy yet they get no supercapital ships at all, and iirc their heaviest capital ship takes a few eras to unlock.
Oh well, like it matters, was just curious.
The NR being more difficult in some of the early GCs really isn't because of the SSDs, they're best equipped out of anyone to deal with them. It's more because of how spread out and disconnected their territory tends to be.
From the Ground Up is best mode :)
I know you guys put lots of work into your era specific modes but love the big spawling maps which you turn 1 planet into huge empire...
What was the difference between Art of War and Essence of War again?
Different planet numbers or faction setup?
Bit of both. Essence of War is now 80 planets, Art is 118, Essence lacks some of the smaller factions.
Thanks for the clarification.
So Art is the ultimate scenario where everything is thrown in with the expected longest gameplay while Essence is the slightly toned down version which still covers all eras and plays longer than most single era GCs.
Will Art of War include Sate Pestage?
Yes.
my face cant go big enough to show my excitement properly
