A WW1 full conversion mod for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour, that will be using art and code from the long forgotten mod, The Great Trench War. I plan on making this mod as historically accurate and realistic as possible. I also plan on including the factor of Moral for infantry. This mod is also for vanilla Generals. I havent been working on it very long, and any help with skinning and/or modeling is welcome.

Progress and Changes

Its been a while since i've posted anything, so ill do a little report for ya'll.

I've been stuck on making a button to change the commandset mid-game for the tractor, but i think i almost have that done. i have also been working on INIs for the different Trenches, altho i have yet to add the models for them (im hoping to get someone to skin them before i do).

Also, do_i_ob has been making a few models for the mod.

There is some bad news though. Due to the way the game engine works, i can't add values to a unit. so i cant add a moral factor the way i wanted to. i may still be able to add some sort of moral though, by making an area the same as with the Red Guard's Horde ability. except it would have a negative effect, and have an extremely large radius compared to the Red Guard's area.

One last thing, i am going to stop making the ZH version for now. when the Generals version is at Alpha 0.5, i may go ahead and get the ZH version caught up. The reason for this is i basically need to do the ZH INIs from scratch, and if i do the Generals version and ZH version at the same time releases for either one will take much longer, as i would be switching back and forth between the two. I also may still continue to release unit images on ZH as well, for those who don't go to the Generals version.

well, i still have some watchers on Generals. Plus alot of people already have mods for ZH. And as i dont know how to make a launcher, this mod wont be compatible with any others. Anyways, it shouldn't be much more work to put it in both, just a bunch of debugging.

Small update;
i will not be posting anything for the next few days, due to a trip im taking. i hope to have a small surprise for yall when i get back tho :D

Progress;
I only have (as far as i know) one unit left to make for the Allies. after that there is some buildings im wanting to make/edit, and then all thats left for the Allies is INI work.

Help!
The list of models to complete is getting shorter and shorter. As such, when i have no more model/INI work to do, i will no longer be able to make any progress. If i cant get a skinner by that time, the mod will not be able to leave the Beta stage. If you have any experience with photoshop, please send me a PM. you dont have to know anything about modding, just how to make realistic pics of wood, fabric, textures in general, ect. i will need all skins in ether Jpeg or TGA format.

Note that i got all the WW1 pics to make this stuff from the web, if you need pics you can google the name of the unit or send me a PM requesting them.
