The Roman Legion is a fully-compatible expansion pack for Age of Mythology. With renowned standards of quality, Purple Design Studios has begun the development of the most complete civilization modification ever created for Age of Mythology. Everything from the building set to the user interface has been revolutionized for the Romans. Incorporating new textures with old models, we will be able to keep download size relatively low.
A number of cinematic weapons and shields will be available as attachments in the Roman Legion, allowing our fans to make use of the mod for their own customized units! Everything from detailed pila to gallic helmets, nearly every item is attached to models using the anim text files, allowing a downloader who knows very little modding to 'play Mr. Potato Head' with our preset pieces and create the units they want to see.
We want you to help us develop the greatest Roman civilization known to Age of Mythology! From AI programmers to 3-dimensional animators, all designers are welcome on staff! Progress on the mod has been slow, as I finish programming the Romans into the game and setup their God, units and buildings.
AFAIK, no progress has been made in the art department, as our main texture artist is in Military School, and a member of the 0a.d. art team.

Hello, AgeofKnights, I would like to ask you if you're willing to let me use your finished work on this mod, I've already compiled some other Roman mods and with the release of the Tales of the Dragon Expansion pack for the new Age of Mythology: Extended Edition I would like to make a sort of community expansion pack like the Forgotten one for AoE II HD that got turned into an official one. I just want to continue what you guys started and of course you will receive full credits, I just need the things you've already done, that's it, I can probably find myself other "placeholder" items in the mean time until everything is in it's proper place and working.
