That is the IMR-2M, Was made by pictures, because dont have blueprints for it.

Yeah I think so. Using texture programs like GIMP Paintshop or Photoshop can mitigate that problem if you rework your alpha channel.

actually that's easily fixable.
I'm guessing the holes have a gradient and the texture has a white background? If so that's what's causing the white lines. background has to be the same color as the main texture.
No\hidden background texture defaults to white.
