Yes, the model camo changes. If you see all the prints, I dont make the hard work to substitute all textures at every game. I make the game trade for me!
BTW, someone knows how can I make all 8 wheels roll without bugs??? (because in the game I just see max6 wheels example) and the 4 first whees turns left and right
Have you referenced all the wheel bones in the units code? All 8 of them? And have you given it something like the troop crawler's locomotor? Try turning of power-sliding.
the marines still use lav's. it is useful for rapid-deployment as it is lighter and smaller then the stryker, and its bushmaster 20mm packs a bigger punch than the mk19. the lav is almost like a small stryker such that it can carry troops, is amphibious, and can field multiple weapons systems
Thanks for correcting me. I actually quite dislike Strykers, they have quite a lot drawbacks. Not having the M242 (25mm by the way) is the biggest for me. In fact, the largest caliber it can hold is .50 M2 or the 30mm MK19.
I have proposed the grenade variant of Stryker because its effective against both (light) vehicles and infantry, and because it could be interesting to have a grenade IFV in the game. But I doubt that I would use it at all.
ya, 25mm, my bad. the stryker can field a 105, but its not effective vs heavy armor. the stryker cant really touch enemy tanks. its no replacement for the bradly, thats for sure
Stryker can have 105mm cannon? Looks like I have things to learn.
But I agree with its low power, its better to field a Bushmaster against infantry/helicopters and ATGMs against tanks. Really, do the Stryker have any advantages against Bradley + LAV forces?
Yes, the version with the 105mm is called the M1128 Mobile Gun System. The Strykers advantage is its flexability (can be an IFV,Ambulance,MGS, Mobile Command center, engineering). There is also a upgrade for the Strykers and LAVs called the LAV-H. That improves the Armor, Payload, Powerpack, and mobility. I've also heard that a 30-40mm could be mounted on LAV-Hs but i've never actually been able to find a source confirming it.
patton: Its better for urban combat? I must have overlooked something.
JNT: Dont know if LAV also does have MGS and ambulance, but it does have all the other variants + Air Defense (GAU12 and 2x4 Stingers), mortars, logistics, and electronic warfare.
it is supposedly better, it has better 360 awareness (innfrared, night vision, etc) to be competetive in urban warfare. to compare, the bradley is limited to the direction the turret is facing because its sensors are mostly on the turret, while the stryker has sensors all around to "see" all around it. then, instead of having to rotate the turret to look for threats, it can move the turret to engage threats already seen. however, its lack of anti-armor firepower is a big put-down in my opinion, which is why it is not yet a replacement for the bradley. its anti-armor capabilities are nowhere near the bradley, but it is used for an entirely different role, for now
STRYKER with the 105mm CAN engage tanks, 105mm AP rounds and pop goes the weasel, though i wouldnt want to be in the STRYKER when it engages 1. STRYKER wont replace the bradley because its not an IFV, bradley was made to support the infantry, id like to see a STRYKER with upgrades like, MED M2 .50 CAL 25mm anti infantry light vehicles/medium? then the 105mm for bigger vehicles?
the stryker's gun is not rated to fire M900 DU rounds, they would rupture the seals in the breach. with its regular AP rounds, it is not an effective tank killer. the MGS' primary focus is to be a close support weapon for the infantry, therefore it probably will not get the M900 rounds necessary to make it a tank killer.
looks cool bro how many troops will it carry
5 troops, the pattern.
Yeah...
the one at the bottom looks green, will it have different models depending on the terrain?

it have something to do with the Affect Pivot, and with the code how many wheels it have.
you need to highlight all the wheel pivots and click "align pivots to world". Then code 8 wheels in the units code.
the question is: the bones, just accept max 2 wheels turning??

Beautiful texture, bravo!
Awesome model =D
Enjoy the fruit of the hard work !!
Super cool!!!
looks like WiC-model! great!
But WIC dont have ASLAV-25
que bom
My Fav. :P
sweet! great textures!
The model looks really great!
But doesnt US use Strykers? I think that you should make the MK.19 grenade launcher Stryker variant.

It can carry more troops, and is supposedly better for urban combat, which is the direction most new armored vehicles are headed

Woot!
I Never thought you'd add this but thanks!
This mod is the best, kinda better than QSN's lol.
